Take a look at the Statement of Duties below for more details.The Role:Maintain clean hygienic surrounding to facilitate the control of infection.Maintenance of basic ward equipment.Ensure patient confidentiality.You will need:Demonstrated knowledge of the standards required to prevent infection.Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with hospital staff and public.Ability and willingness to work as part of a team in promoting a harmonious work environment.Ability to monitor ward/unit stock and stores, ordering when appropriate.Note: - Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application.Why Tasmania:The Department of Health Tasmania oversees various hospitals across the state, including the Royal Hobart Hospital, Launceston General Hospital, Northwest Regional Hospital, and Mersey Community Hospital, as well as district hospitals and ambulance services. It also means embracing a lifestyle where you can enjoy extraordinary experiences outside of work while making a significant impact on the community during work.Details of appointment:Permanent, part time, shift worker (set rotational) position, working 64 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.Salary: $59,930 to $62,486 per annum (Pro rata).
