Valen Power seeks an experienced Account Manager with a proven track record in growing key accounts and building strong, strategic client relationships. This opportunity allows you to work with a leader in battery and energy storage technology, driving impact across a broad customer base in Australia and New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities:
* Retain and grow existing Gold and Silver tier accounts through structured account planning and regular review meetings.
* Act as the key point of contact for assigned clients, providing exceptional service and identifying opportunities to add value.
* Lead contract renewals, negotiations, and proactive issue resolution.
* Collaborate with internal teams across sales, product, and support to deliver seamless customer experiences.
* Utilize CRM tools (NetSuite) to manage client data, track opportunities, and report on performance.
* Travel up to 2 times per week domestically or to New Zealand to strengthen client relationships and support strategic account growth.
Requirements:
* Demonstrated experience in account management or client services, preferably in the energy, electrical, or technical sectors.
* Proven success growing and managing large/key accounts.
* Strong planning and organisational skills – methodical and structured approach.
* CRM proficiency – NetSuite experience is beneficial.
* A background in batteries or energy storage is highly regarded but not essential.
