We have multiple vacancies for Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Avionics) within our Hawk Lead‐In Fighter program. As an Avionics AME you will report to the Team Leader and be responsible for scheduled servicing and unscheduled maintenance across various aircraft platforms.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out maintenance, inspections, and fault diagnosis on avionic systems and components across both fixed‐wing and rotary‐wing aircraft.
* Ensure all work is performed using authorised technical data, compliant with regulatory and organisational standards.
* Accurately document maintenance activities, meeting certification and reporting requirements within required timeframes.
* Action engineering advice, defect reporting, maintenance deficiencies, and publication amendments as directed.
* Report and escale any defects, non‐conformances, or quality issues to the Team Leader in line with procedures.
* Perform maintenance tasks within your delegated authority while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.
About You
* Hold an Aircraft Maintenance Trade – Cert IV Aeroskills – Avionics (Mandatory).
* Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain a Defence Clearance (Mandatory).
* Experience or a strong interest in working with Defence Military Aircraft.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to deliver work within a fast‐paced team environment.

As a Defence security clearance is required, applicants must be Australian citizens and either possess or be eligible to obtain and maintain one. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable and your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
