Event Logistics Coordinator Job Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Event Logistics Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the setup, pack down and equipment movement for events throughout our property.
About the Role:
* This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in events logistics and/or hospitality to showcase their skills and expertise.
* You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless event execution.
* Maintain guest focus in all services, ensuring timely, effective and efficient delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Interpret and understand event orders and banquet set up instructions.
* Physically move and strategically place event furniture and equipment.
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders as required.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in events logistics and/or hospitality.
* Forklift License is required, Traffic Control and Pallet Jack experience advantageous but not required.
* Ability to work within a team and communicate efficiently.
* An understanding of safe work practices and ability to follow procedures and processes.
* Current QLD RSA Statement of Attainment.
* Flexible availability over a 7 day roster.
