Due to sustained growth, this confidential client is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join their Southport‐based head office finance team. Your new role
Reporting to the Financial Controller and working closely with the Executive Team, this is a hands‐on Financial Accountant position with broad exposure across the business. You will take ownership of core accounting functions, management reporting, and financial controls across a multi‐branch operation. This role will suit a commercially minded finance professional looking to step into a broader leadership position.
What you'll need to succeed
* Degree qualification in Accounting
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a commercial accounting role
* Strong exposure across general ledger, P&L, balance sheet reconciliations, and management reporting
* Experience using integrated accounting systems (ICE or similar advantageous)
* Strong communication and organisational skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
* Demonstrated capability to mentor or lead team members
* Highly detail‐oriented, proactive, and commercially focused
* Reliable, professional, and deadline‐driven
