What your day could look like
As an Operational Services Supervisor, you'll be a key connector between frontline teams and great patient experiences. From coordinating shifts to reinforcing safety and food standards, you'll guide a capable crew and champion simple improvements that keep our hospitals running smoothly.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
Lifting service quality by planning workloads, setting clear standards and coaching your team to succeed.
Strengthening safety and compliance, embedding food safety systems, monitoring risks and acting early to resolve issues.
Building capability through practical training and mentoring that improves skills, confidence and care.
Driving small but meaningful improvements with data, feedback and collaboration across clinical and corporate teams.
Let's talk about you!
You bring equal parts care and capability. You stay calm under pressure, make fair calls and bring people with you. You'll take pride in turning busy rosters into well-run services where dignity is felt in every meal delivered, room cleaned and patient supported, guided by compassion, integrity, innovation and courage.
Here's what will help you thrive:
Food Safety Supervisor certification (or willingness to obtain within 3 months).
Strong supervision and communication skills; experience allocating work and leading diverse teams.
Confidence with digital systems and Microsoft applications to organise schedules and record quality checks.
Sound understanding of WHS, manual handling and infection-prevention practices; able to wear a P2/N95 when required.
You'll stand out if you have experience in healthcare/aged care or other safety-critical settings and/or a background in quality improvement or staff training.
Together, we'll deliver safe, dignified services that embody compassion, integrity, innovation and courage.
