Your new role
As Credit Controller you will work closely with the Accounts Receivable (AR) Manager to deliver the AR and Credit Management function for Uniting across Victoria and Tasmania. Working as part of a small team your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring and reconciling debtor accounts
- Undertaking debt collections for a large and varied customer base supporting vulnerable clients with payment plans
- Escalating overdue invoices by issuing Letters of Demand and engaging debt collection agencies where necessary
- Conducting monthly debtor reviews and preparing reports across AR functions
- Providing high‑level support and customer service to business units on invoicing, AR and credit management processes

Skills and Experience
You will bring with you:
- Experience in AR and credit control in a complex environment with a variety of revenue streams
- An understanding of AR and credit management systems, processes and internal controls
- Ability to follow and enforce policies to minimise doubtful debt and uphold compliance
- An eye for detail, strong communication and organisational skills
- Experience working with AR software Microsoft Dynamics or similar large accounting package (preferred)
