**The role**: The role is responsible for developing and maintaining the framework for Transition Management, ensuring that the process provides a timely resolution of transition management issues as well as providing consistent, robust, and repeatable processes to minimize the impact of transition-related activities upon service quality, and improve eHealth's operational and delivery efficiency.
The role will involve broad stakeholder management with both internal and external parties so experience in this area is key. Your engagement approach and ICT transition skills will see you form strong relationships and drive outcomes, leading to a smooth transition of programs of work. You are the key conduit between program, support and technical teams to ensure clear communication and cohesive work between all parties and successful transitioning of project outcomes into operations.
You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following:
- Lead, manage and mentor staff committed to the delivery of a diverse and dynamic work program
- Provide advanced interpersonal, communication, negotiation skills and ability to build relationships with Project Managers based on credible advice and performance
- Previous professional experience working within a project or ITIL Service management area
- Experience in operating model change management and transition from project delivery to an operational environment where people, process and technology and equally considered
- Demonstrated experience in understanding the integration between various ITIL Service management disciplines and essentials for projects successfully transitioned to operations
- Good working knowledge of a broad range of skills including software, systems and enterprise architecture, ITIL service management.
Additionally, you will have the ability to maintain an up-to-date understanding of wider transition management strategies, objectives, and industry trends in IT service management.
