Salary: $100,000 - $170,000 + Super

Overview
We are currently recruiting Systems and Safety Assurance Engineers to work on passenger rail projects on the west coast.
Responsibilities
* Producing works associated with Systems Engineering and Safety assurance including but not limited to:
o Safety Assurance
o Systems Engineering
o Requirements Management
o System Architecture development
o Goal Structured Notation
o Systems Integration
* Develop Safety Case Reports, Assurance plans, Hazard/Safety Analyses
* Conduct requirements verification and develop test cases and procedures
* Assist in Tender preparation
* Display a deep understanding of safety assurance in the context of conventional or modern signalling systems, working with a range of OEMs and operators
* Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards incl.:
o EN 50126/8/9
o ISO 15288
o AS61508
* Confidently engage with internal and external stakeholders including operators, government, contractors
Required Experience
* Bachelors Engineering – Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics/Civil or similar
* 4+ years' experience in Systems Engineering posts, ideally within signalling projects
* Prior use of Requirements Management tools such as DOORS Classic or NG
* Commercial / Consultative acumen – confident in communication
* Basic understanding of Rail Safety National Law, EN5012x
* Sound knowledge of principles associated with the INCOSE Systems Engineering Handbook or iESM Handbook
