Finance Compliance Expert
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced finance compliance expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in identifying and analysing complex financial data, providing timely advice on finance compliance issues, and coordinating with stakeholders across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and undertake analysis to define, structure, solve and provide advice on complex financial data problems.
* Analyse, prepare, publish and provide timely advice on complex finance compliance issue data-based briefs, reports and advanced visualisations.
* Coordinating and gathering evidence or information from key stakeholders across the organisation.
* Liaise with stakeholders across the organisation to deliver on the finance compliance program.
* Review existing finance compliance data analysis activities to assess the effectiveness and identify process improvements.
* Assist the finance compliance team to meet their deliverables within the nominated timeframes and to a consistently high standard.
* Responsible for the ethical use of data and interpreting and complying with legislation, organisational policy and regulatory frameworks including data management requirements.
Our Team:
The finance compliance team undertakes finance compliance assurance audits and activities in accordance with organisational policies, frameworks, guidance and legislation. The team applies a risk-based approach to its strategic objectives, leveraging automation and data analytics to identify financial business process risk, issues and integrity related matters which require further investigation.
Requirements:
* Demonstrate digital & data skills to enable evidence-based decisions. This includes understanding of systems and tools such as SQL, Power BI, Python and/or R.
* Ability to liaise with stakeholder at all levels and classification.
