Project Electrical, Instrument and Controls EngineerJoin to apply for the Project Electrical, Instrument and Controls Engineer role at Amplitude Energy.Role OverviewWe are seeking a Project Electrical, Instrumentation & Control (EI&C) Engineer to join our Melbourne team, leading critical projects in gas processing operations. This is a 2-year fixed-term contract.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and support end-to-end delivery of EI&C projects, from design to execution.Lead upgrades and maintenance of LV/HV electrical systems, DCS, PLCs, SCADA, and instrumentation.Troubleshoot and resolve system failures to enhance reliability and performance.Ensure compliance with Australian standards and hazardous area requirements.Collaborate with site teams, OEMs, and contractors to ensure safe and efficient project outcomes.Contribute to continuous improvement in automation, power distribution, and plant control systems.Support HAZOPs, SIL assessments, and shutdown planning.Review and develop technical documentation and scopes of work.Support Management of Change (MoC) processes and risk assessments.Ensure project delivery aligns with safety, quality, and performance standards.Qualifications and ExperienceDegree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.7+ years of EI&C experience in oil & gas, energy, or heavy industry.Registered RPEV (Electrical).Strong background in control systems, hazardous area compliance, and Ex-rated equipment.Proven project delivery in complex operational and hazardous environments.Knowledge of AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 60079 standards.Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.Willingness to travel to sites.About UsAmplitude Energy is Australia's first carbon-neutral gas exploration and production company, committed to responsible and ethical operations, aiming to bridge renewable energy supply and consumer demand.
