The Pharmacy Guild of Australia NSW Branch is seeking a full-time Business Development Manager to drive membership growth across NSW. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for acquiring new members and retaining existing ones through strong consultative engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Proactively acquire new members and retain existing ones through strong consultative engagement
* Build and manage trusted relationships with pharmacy owners, stakeholders, and internal teams
* Communicate the Guild's value proposition to pharmacists and pharmacy owners
* Promote Guild services and membership benefits
* Coordinate and attend relevant events and forums to generate new member leads
* Support CRM and data updates, pipeline tracking, and lead conversion
* Collaborate with senior leadership to deliver on membership growth targets and optimise sales processes
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need demonstrated experience in business development, sales, or membership recruitment, ideally within or closely aligned to the community pharmacy sector. You should bring a pharmacy background or deep understanding of the industry to ensure credibility when engaging prospective members.
Benefits:
* A competitive total remuneration package of approximately $130,000–$140,000
* Base salary of $100,000 per annum (negotiable beyond for an exceptional candidate)
