About the Role
The Chief Information Officer is responsible for ensuring that our IT capability services our schools and early learning centres. The primary indicator of success is that school principals assess the IT systems as supporting them to do their job well.
As part of this responsibility, the Chief Information Officer leads the whole-of-enterprise technology strategy, ICT Framework and delivery of ICT Services. They provide advice to the Board Committees on digital transformation, risk management and strategies related to technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with the organisation's goals and objectives
Oversee the design, development, deployment and maintenance of all ICT infrastructure and systems
Provide strategic advice to the Board Committees on digital transformation, risk management and technology-related strategies
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Qualifications in Information Technology and/or similar fields
Demonstrated executive leadership experience within a medium to large organisation with complex information and communications technology requirements
ACT Working with Vulnerable People clearance and NSW Working with Children Check
Driver's Licence
