This is a critical senior leadership role responsible for the delivery of high-quality services to Hospitals and Health Services (HHS) across the state.
In this role you will be responsible for the development and execution of business strategy, operational planning, performance reporting, budget accountability and client engagement.
What you'll do
* Provide leadership and direction across the full breadth of Central Pharmacy Distribution Centre functions to ensure exceptional standards of customer service, customer confidence, operational efficiency and cost effectiveness.
* Convey a clear vision for overall operational excellence and safety culture in the Distribution Centre and leverage the strengths of the Central Pharmacy Distribution Centre Team members towards achievement of the vision.
* Take full responsibility for the effective day to day performance of the Pharmacy Distribution Centre, directing, controlling and coordinating all elements of Distribution Centre operations and to ensure that all key performance targets are met consistently.
* Oversee effective management of all workforce related activities in the Pharmacy Distribution Centre including resource allocation, workforce planning, payroll, performance management, learning and development, recruitment, union consultation and case management of workforce issues including disciplinary matters and staff complaints.
About you
We are searching for someone who has:
* Expert technical knowledge of contemporary Distribution Centre and warehousing systems, operating models and related space utilisation and materials handling solutions and an excellent understanding of the interrelationships between Distribution Centres and other functions in a complex supply chain system.
