Role Overview
The Specialist Aftercare Coach is a full-time permanent position that involves working closely with young individuals as they transition into independence. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for empowering young people and an in-depth understanding of trauma-informed care and Advantaged Thinking principles.
Key Responsibilities:
* To meet and uphold contract, performance, and practice requirements while adhering to ethical and professional standards.
* Contribute to the improvement of Aftercare practices by promoting high standards of service delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A minimum of 3 years' experience working with young people and relevant tertiary qualifications in social science or equivalent.
* A current NSW driver's licence and NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC).
* Exceptional relationship-building and advocacy skills.
* A 'can-do' attitude with flexibility to adapt to changing needs and priorities.
* Energy to match the pace and enthusiasm of young people.
