What\'s on offer? Fulton Hogan and our joint venture partners are delivering the central package of the Coomera Connector Stage 1 project, a 6-lane, 8-kilometre section of the project between Helensvale Road and Smith Street Motorway.
Reporting to the Project Finance Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the project with the day-to-day accounting and reporting functions, as well as providing advice, insight, and analysis to the operational and management teams to achieve strategic objectives.
Your Contribution
- Assisting with Month end and year end reporting including processing journal entries, joint venture entries and preparing profit and loss.
- Preparing weekly cash flow and monitor status of outstanding accounts receivable.
- Assisting project teams with financial reporting activities.
- Assisting with the preparation of the region\'s Fringe Benefits Tax return preparation.
- Assisting the Regional Finance Manager with reporting on regional financial performance against KPIs and assisting in preparing and processing subcontractor claims.
- Maintaining and monitoring asset register and depreciation schedule.
- Providing support with financial issues to team members, Engineers, and Managers and assisting with ensuring compliance with internal policies, statutory and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Attributes
- Demonstrated experience in an Accountancy role, preferably within the Construction, Infrastructure, Engineering industry sectors and/or professional services firm is highly regarded.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance + CA/CPA qualification as advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage at all levels and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
