Maintenance Officer – Toowoomba location, Permanent Full-Time. Flexible start date.
Churches of Christ Queensland are currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for our Toowoomba location, working within our Residential Aged Care Home. You will play a vital role in ensuring our seniors living facilities are safe, functional, and welcoming. You will carry out repairs, installations, and preventative maintenance, as well as supervising and managing a team of maintenance and grounds staff. This is a hands-on role where your expertise will directly contribute to the wellbeing of our residents and the smooth operation of our services.
About You
Our ideal candidate is
Essential
* Comfortable working within an Aged Care Environment
* Strong knowledge and commitment to Work Health and Safety
* A minimum of two years' experience as a Handyman, Maintenance or Trade
* Currently holds, or willing to obtain, a current Police Check
* Hold a current drivers licence
* Experience supervising a team
* Hold valid Australian Work Rights – Unfortunately we are not currently able to sponsor
Desirable
* Knowledge or experience using a computer-based maintenance management system
