We have an exciting new opportunity for a Marketing Coordinator to join the SBH team, based in the Blue Mountains.
Reporting to our Regional Marketing Manager, as our new Marketing Coordinator you will execute local area marketing activities to achieve the business objectives for a defined cluster of Hotels within the Salter Brothers Hospitality portfolio. These include Lilianfels Resort and Spa, The Hydro Majestic, Spicers Sangoma and also Milton Park Country House Hotel and Spa.

The role and key duties;
Coordinate and deliver local area marketing activities for our Hotels, including events marketing and working with the Graphic Designer to create property-specific collateral;
Assist in developing engaging and on-brand content, from blog posts to social media captions, ensuring alignment with our brand tone and style;
Participate in regular LAM meetings with all key stakeholders, maintaining positive working relationships;
Maintain and grow our social media presence, crafting engaging posts and responding to audience interactions;
Monitor and report on campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics and social media insights, providing actionable recommendations.
Ensure marketing activities are carried out effectively and on schedule;
Ensure local area activities are integrated with all other marketing activity to ensure consistent messaging and communication;
Assist in the execution of marketing campaigns;
Be responsive to ad hoc request from General Managers in alignment with the marketing strategy;
Work with the Marketing Manager to regularly report on local area marketing activities;
Support the Marketing team with monthly reporting and any administrative requests.
Essential criteria required to be considered;
Marketing degree or similar is essential;
Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a Marketing role;
Experience in the Hotel / hospitality industry is desirable either in a marketing or operational capacity;
Working knowledge of content management systems;
Working knowledge of SEO/SEM, Google Analytics, Meta and CRM Software;
Strong writing skills and the ability to write copy for a range of marketing channels;
Ability to manage competing priorities, work with multiple stakeholder and meet deadlines;
Detail-oriented and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
