ME Medical Recruitment is seeking an experienced
Regional Director of Medical Services (RDMS)
to lead and support medical service delivery across a diverse region.
About the Role
Balance clinical practice (0.5 FTE) with strategic and leadership responsibilities (0.5 FTE).
Drive safer, more connected healthcare for unique communities.
Provide leadership across multiple facilities and collaborate with a regional referral centre.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee medical service delivery and clinical governance.
Support and mentor medical staff.
Contribute to strategic planning and service improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Relevant tertiary qualification and current registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
Fellowship in General Practice (FACRRM or FRACGP/FRACGP-RG/FARGP).
Advanced skills in one or more areas: Emergency Medicine, Remote Medicine, Adult Internal Medicine, Paediatrics, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health, Mental Health, or Small Town General Practice.
C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
Ability to meet pre-employment screening and vaccination requirements.
Benefits
Competitive remuneration package up to $700,253 p.a.
Base salary $216,643–$274,678 p.a. (L18–L27).
5 weeks annual leave with 17.5% loading.
