**Civil and Environmental Project Specialist**
Job Description:
As a project specialist, you will be instrumental in the engineering, construction, and technical delivery of diverse civil, infrastructure, and environmental projects. Reporting to a senior manager, you will play a key role in ensuring project quality, managing risks, coordinating resources, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support project managers in delegated aspects of civil, infrastructure, and environmental projects.
* Ensure project quality requirements are met and company processes are followed.
* Assist with procurement, contract administration, and financial tracking.
* Prepare technical RFIs and liaise with design consultancies.
* Implement safe systems of work, manage risks, and ensure compliance.
Requirements:
A recognised Engineering Degree or relevant tertiary qualification, with a strong preference for Chemical Engineering.
2-3 years’ engineering experience in civil/infrastructure project delivery, ideally in water.
Hands-on experience working with pumps, pipes, and water treatment systems (coagulation/flocculation, multi-media filtration, membrane treatment, granular activated carbon, ion exchange treatment, and chemical dosing).
Experience in contracts administration, procurement, scheduling, and cost tracking.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project) and ERP/PM platforms (e.g., InEight).
A current White Card, driver’s license, and ability to obtain security clearances.
