About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Production Supervisor – Day Shift at our Wyong facility. This role will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating labelling operations during the day shift to ensure production targets, quality, and safety standards are achieved.
Reporting to the Site Operations Manager, you will play a key role in supervising and supporting the production team, driving efficiency, and ensuring compliance with WHS and Quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain a safe system of work in line with Cordina’s WHS policies and procedures.
* Supervise and coordinate labelling operations to ensure production schedules are met.
* Oversee labour planning, rostering, and performance of labelling staff.
* Ensure labelling quality meets product specification and compliance requirements.
* Monitor and report on production KPIs, including yields, material variances, and efficiency.
* Support production planning processes, from raw materials through to finished product dispatch.
* Lead, motivate, and develop the labelling team to achieve operational goals.
* Drive continuous improvement activities across quality, safety, and efficiency.
* Collaborate with other departments including Quality, Engineering, and Warehousing.
* Identify training needs and coordinate programs to support skill development.
* Provide daily and weekly reports to Site Management.
Who We’re Looking For
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a production or supervisory role, ideally in food processing/manufacturing.
* Previous experience in labelling operations highly regarded.
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective teams.
* Proven ability to deliver against KPIs and drive performance improvements.
* Effective decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
* Strong time management and organisational skills.
