Overview of Role:
Coliban Water is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Performance Manager to lead their team in driving performance and benefits through effective contracting of major outsourcing arrangements.
The role is part of the Assets & Operations Group, Strategic Partnerships Team, responsible for delivering specialist commercial service and advice on partnership contracts.
This spans several different contract models, including operations & maintenance contracts, public-private partnerships, major service contracts, and consultancy head contracts.
Key Responsibilities
1. Delivering commercial expertise to ensure optimal performance of transactions related to partnership contracts.
2. Enhancing the organisation's position concerning partnership contracts using technical and operational expertise.
3. Applying economic and financial expertise to strengthen the organisation's position.
About You
* Relevant tertiary qualification in business management, finance, economics, law, engineering, or related discipline, with extensive experience in evaluating and managing commercial transactions/projects/operations.
* Comprehensive understanding of commercial principles and ability to exercise professional judgment to determine fair and reasonable outcomes.
* Knowledge of a broad range of service contract delivery models.
You will be responsible for leading the Commercial Performance Team in areas relating to the performance, financial management, and change management of our major transactions and strategic partnerships.
A valid Driver's license is also required.
