* Usual working hours are 5:45 am‐5:00 pm Mon‐Fri and some Saturdays as required with opportunity to earn overtime

The Holcim Aggregates team is looking for a hands‐on, mechanically minded person for this role which involves maintenance of fixed and mobile plant assets.
You will supervise a multidisciplinary team with the aim of providing an efficient and effective production process in a safety‐focused environment. The position will require working closely with the site manager to develop strategies and deliver operational goals for the site.
About you
* Ability to operate and maintain heavy mobile and fixed plant equipment
* A strong culture of safety leadership and a working knowledge of Safety Management Systems, relevant legislation and regulations
* Experience in a similar quarry supervisory/leadership role with solid customer service and people skills
* Practical crushing and screening experience is essential
* An understanding of drill & blast and quarry development is desirable
* Experience in budgeting and working to cost targets
* Able to work well with sales and technical teams to help deliver key business objectives
* Understand Chain of Responsibility requirements
* Certificate IV and/or Diploma in Extractive Industries or relevant tertiary qualifications (Mining, Mechanical, Geology, Construction, or similar) is desirable
* SAP knowledge is nice to have for purchase orders and cost tracking, though training on this will be provided.
