The role
Carmen Jewellers is seeking an experienced Jewellery Sales Assistant to join our team in Joondalup.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers with all their jewellery needs. For over 35 years, we've been known for our commitment to exquisite craftsmanship, high-quality products, and outstanding customer service.
Key responsibilities
* Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
* Assist customers in selecting jewellery items that meet their needs and preferences
* Provide detailed information about our jewellery collections, including materials, styles, and features
* Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
* Assist customers with our custom order process
* Maintain a well-organised and visually appealing store environment
* Contribute to the overall success of the store by achieving sales targets
* Collaborate with the team to ensure a seamless customer experience
* Follow company policies regarding security, safety, and ethical practices.
What we're looking for
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a retail or customer service role, preferably in the jewellery industry
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong product knowledge and the ability to advise customers
* Attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service
* Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including Thursday evenings and weekends
* Enthusiasm for the retail industry and a desire to contribute to the success of the business
* Ability to bend and lift lightweight items (<3kg) at or above shoulder height
* Your own vehicle or other reliable transport to and from work
* Flexibility to work between stores if required
