About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Horticultural Assistant. In this role, you will play a vital part in the maintenance and conservation of Australia's plant species.
* Assist in horticultural management, including weeding, plant propagation, and general horticultural maintenance in outdoor and controlled environments.
* Perform routine horticultural maintenance tasks to support our scientific plant collections and horticultural displays.
* Provide information about our gardens to professional groups and members of the public.
* Assist with park interpretive, visitor service, and public relations activities, including face-to-face interpretive presentations.
