Your new role:
As a Senior Occupational Therapist (Behaviour Support), you'll provide expert assessment and intervention to patients with complex behaviour management needs within the inpatient general medical wards at Logan Hospital. You'll support sustainable discharge planning, lead service improvement, and guide junior clinicians.
In this role you will:
* Deliver high-quality, evidence-based OT services to patients aged 16+
* Support behaviour management and discharge planning across multidisciplinary teams
* Supervise and mentor HP3 clinicians, students and AHAs
* Contribute to quality improvement, research and clinical education initiatives
* Work across a variety of clinical areas as needed, including weekends once competent
About you:
You're an experienced and compassionate OT who thrives in a fast-paced hospital setting and is passionate about behaviour support and collaborative care.
You will demonstrate:
* High-level knowledge and skills in OT practice for complex behaviour needs
* Strong communication and teamwork within multidisciplinary settings
* Ability to prioritise and manage complex caseloads effectively
* Proven leadership and supervision of junior staff and students
* Initiative in driving service development and quality improvement

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
