Your new role
Wests Group is seeking a driven Marketing Executive to lead marketing across our Hotel and Community portfolios on a 12‐month maternity leave contract. Reporting to the Group Marketing Manager, this role offers the opportunity to take ownership of the execution and delivery of marketing strategies across these key categories. You will oversee all marketing, communications, brand, loyalty, digital, and social activity for The Anchorage Hotel & Spa, The Executive and The Gateway Hotels, and Knights Strong community arm of the Wests and Knights Group.
What you'll be doing
- Create and deliver tactical marketing plans across hotel and community portfolios
- Plan, manage, and track social media campaigns including content creation and copywriting
- Build brand awareness and engagement by collaborating with influencers, media, and partners
- Develop and deliver a promotional calendar
- Coordinate photography and video shoots, managing and maintaining the visual asset library
- Create, secure, and manage special events
- Prepare monthly reporting and insights
- Manage third‐party agency relationships (PR, digital, design) to ensure strong outcomes
- Use research, analysis, and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement in customer experience and community impact
About you
- 3+ years' experience in a generalist marketing role
- Strong experience in campaign planning and execution
- A creative mindset with creative, out-of-the-box thinking
- Understanding of digital platforms and ability to analyse performance
- Proven skills in marketing, communications, and digital channels
- Strong relationship management skills and ability to work cross‐functionally
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, or Business (desirable)
- Experience within hospitality, tourism, community, or events (advantageous)
