We’re on the hunt for a talented Senior Structural Engineer ready to step into a leadership role within our dynamic team.From day one, you’ll work on an exciting mix of structural projects—from high-end custom homes to complex multi-storey and commercial developments—while helping drive innovation, quality, and project delivery across the board.About the RoleAs a Lead Structural Engineer at Ricaya, you will:Lead the design and delivery of structural engineering solutions across diverse residential and commercial projects.Oversee project planning, team coordination, and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.Collaborate closely with architects, builders, and consultants to ensure practical, innovative outcomes.Mentor junior engineers and support our drafting team to produce accurate and well-documented designs.Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, codes, and best practices.Play a key role in business development and client relationship management.Contribute to continuous improvement across our workflows, systems, and technical standards.What We’re Looking For️ Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering (or equivalent recognised in Australia).️ 7+ years of proven structural engineering experience in Australia, with a strong focus on residential and commercial projects.️ In-depth technical knowledge, particularly in concrete and steel structural systems, with an understanding of seismic design principles where applicable.️ Proficient in industry-standard software such as RAM Concept, ETABS, and SpaceGass.️ Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status is highly regarded, or actively working towards chartership.️ Demonstrated experience in managing projects and leading technical teams.️ Strong commercial awareness, risk management capability, and sound engineering judgement.️ Passionate about mentoring junior team members, promoting a collaborative culture, and delivering exceptional client outcomes.️ Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Why Join Ricaya?
