Grounds and Maintenance Supervisor

About the Role

As Grounds and Maintenance Supervisor, you will provide a high level of customer service to guests while maintaining the grounds of the park, including a vast array of amenities. You will also coach, train, and mentor the Grounds and Maintenance team to ensure high standards are maintained.


Responsibilities

1. Maintain public open space areas to a high standard as indicated on the site plan.
2. Ensure works carried out by Grounds & Maintenance are completed to a high-quality standard and in accordance with instructions.
3. Maintain garden beds including pruning, weeding, fertilising, replanting, mulching, and hedging as required.
4. Maintain lawns and plants.
5. Manage site resources allocated to grounds and maintenance and remain accountable for efficient use.
6. Maintenance and general repairs in relation to guest and resident accommodation.
7. Regularly check and attend to general repairs to all public open space areas as required.
8. Respond and assess permanent resident queries and escalate to relevant trades if required.
9. Advise the Manager of any significant financial pressures and strains.
10. Ensure rubbish bins are collected and emptied.
11. Clean and maintain the pool and pool area in accordance with procedures (if applicable).
12. Arrange and administer all repairs and/or maintenance of tools and equipment.
13. Ensure there is a maintenance register in place to record equipment servicing and repairs.
14. At all times exercise and maintain respect for residents, guests and employees.


About You

* Demonstrated experience in grounds/maintenance role.
* Full 'C' class drivers license.
* Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and direction to other staff.
* Good time management skills.
* Excellent customer service skills and teamwork.
* Availability to work weekends.
