PERSOL is partnering with a progressive, privately owned business at a pivotal growth stage, seeking an experienced General Manager to help shape and scale a modern residential construction operation.
We are looking for a commercially grounded leader who enjoys building businesses - someone comfortable working alongside entrepreneurial leaders, bringing structure, momentum and strong operational leadership.
The successful candidate will be across the the enitre business, spanning growth strategy, P&L performance, team leadership, installations, factory operations and compliance. You will play a key role in establishing a scalable platform within the volume residential and multi-residential housing sector.
The Role
* Drive business growth across Brisbane Metro and regional Queensland
* Own financial performance, budgeting and commercial outcomes
* Build and lead a high-performing team in a start-up environment
* Oversee operational delivery across sales, production, installations and governance
* Act as nominee on the QBCC licence, ensuring strong regulatory oversight
About You
You are a senior operator with experience in residential construction, modular/off-site building, or related sectors. You bring:
* Proven leadership experience scaling or establishing businesses
* Strong commercial instincts with P&L accountability
* The ability to influence, negotiate and navigate complex stakeholder environments
* Credibility in regulated industries and installation-led operations
* A collaborative leadership style - confident, pragmatic and respectful in owner-led environments
