ARCway Careers is seeking motivated individuals to join our clients in Aged Care & Community Services. This role is designed for candidates who are interested in entering the care sector but may lack experience or a clear understanding of what the work involves. This opportunity provides structured training, industry exposure and on the job training to support the successful applicant to build a long-term career in the space.
About the opportunity:
As a Trainee, you will:
* Complete industry training to gain foundational knowledge of the aged care and community services sector
* Gain hands‐on exposure by working alongside industry professionals, learning what the role involves day‐to‐day
* Participate in work experience placements at Fairfield and surrounding areas may be required
As part of the pre‐traineeship, completed prior to commencing a full qualification, participants will undertake selected units of competency, including:
* CHCCCS041 – Recognise healthy body systems
* CHCCOM005 – Communicate and work in health or community services
* HLTWHS002 – Follow safe work practices for direct client care
About You
We are looking for candidates who:
* Are genuinely interested in working in aged care or community services
* Have a caring, reliable and respectful attitude
* Are willing to learn and commit to training and placement
* Have good communication skills
* Are Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents
No previous experience is required — full support and guidance are provided.
