Deputy Principal Position
This role offers the opportunity to work in a small rural high school, supporting the Principal in leading and managing the school.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Principal in leading the school and implementing strategic directions.
* Promote the school within the community and develop partnerships.
* Lead and manage a small rural high school, including expertise in administrative technology and organisational systems.
* Develop proactive strategies to support the wellbeing of all students.
Requirements:
* Successful teaching experience with the ability to improve teaching, learning and classroom practice.
* Knowledge of curriculum, assessment and student welfare with the ability to lead and design quality teaching programs.
* Educational leadership skills to build capacity and manage performance.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and engage students, staff and parents.
* Ability to plan and manage resources effectively and equitably.
* Knowledge of and commitment to Aboriginal education policy.
