Role DescriptionWe have the opportunity for two (2) interns to join us to provide hands-on exposure to real world accounting processes. This is ideal for a student or recent graduate looking to gain experience in a professional environment. This is an unpaid internship designed to provide structured learning, mentoring and industry exposure.
What your daily activities will look like:
Accounts Payable admin + payment-run preparationCollate invoices/POs/approvals into tidy “approval packs”Check invoice completeness (entity name, supplier details, invoice #, due date, GST/VAT fields)Maintain a weekly Payment Prep List (supplier, invoice, amount, due date, entity, missing items)Follow up internally for missing information/approvalsAccounts Receivable adminRun/maintain Aged Receivables weeklyPrepare reminder packs (invoice + statement + payment instructions templates)Update a debtor follow-up tracker and escalate disputes/overdue items to FinanceBusiness Central reporting & ERP supportExport standard weekly reports (Aged AP/AR, posted invoice lists, open sales orders pending approval)Support ERP implementation/optimisation tasks: process mapping, workflow documentation, report packs, master data checks, issue loggingFile outputs consistently and flag exceptions (overdue, missing references, mismatches)Master data hygiene & documentationSupport supplier/customer master data completeness checks (contact details, remittance emails, addresses)Build simple SOPs/how-to guides with screenshots (e.g., “how to run report X in BC”)
About You:Studying or recently completed Accounting/Finance (Professional Year students welcome)Good MS Excel Strong attention to detail and communicationCurious/coachability mindset; comfortable working with repeatable processesAvailable 2-3 days per week Duration: 8-12 weeks
