With offices located in WA, NSW and QLD, and due to recently secured project, there is the opportunity to work on a project in Townsville, with competitive rates, starting in January 2026.
About the Role
The successful person will have the opportunity to work in a team on a large-scale project in Townsville. They will assist the supervisor in delivering the day-to-day tasks of Post Tension works in a safe manner and complying with WHS requirements.
About You
This role would suit a well organised person, with strong interpersonal skills, to be part of a busy and successful project delivery environment, looking to be part of an experienced and high performing team, with a collaborative culture.
You ideally would have the following skills and experience:
* Previous post-tensioning experience, including the Installation of post-tension cables, anchors, and ducts.
* Stressing and grouting of tendons.
* Reading and interpreting post-tensioning drawings and plans.
* Previous commercial construction experience in steel fixing, carpentry, and general bridge works.
* Working to deadlines and project schedules.
* A strong team player with the ability to work with limited supervision.
* Sound verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise with a variety of people, including managers, supervisors, workers, and clients.
* Is proactive and reliable and enjoys contributing to the improvement of processes and outcomes.
* Is knowledgeable of WHS practices and drives a safety culture of zero harm.
* Holds a current Construction Induction Safety Certificate (White Card) and Drivers Licence.
* National Police Certificate (within 30-days).
