Steeline supplies builders, trades, and homeowners across Australia. We are seeking experienced and qualified MACHINE OPERATOR to join and bring their expertise to our dedicated professional team based in Berrimah, Northern Territory Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and operate machinery. Strong understanding of the machines they work with. Work with mechanical or computer-operated equipment.
As problems with machinery arise, be able to analyze situations and find solutions. Be able to follow instructions, work with others, and help ensure that all safety regulations are followed. Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery.
Operate tools in order to aid in the manufacturing process. Perform periodic checks on equipment and solve problems as detected. Work with others in order to ensure that equipment is in proper working order.

Inspecting the machine as it produces objects and inspecting these objects upon completion. Inspecting the parts of the machine and using micrometers and rulers to make sure the machine meets all design parameters of the blueprints. Quality Management
Assist in the establishment and enforcement of the quality management policies and strategies aligned with the organisation's objectives. Assist in the establishment and enforcement of the adherence to quality standards ISO 9001 and industry-specific regulations. Promote a culture of continuous improvement in product/service quality.
Oversee quality assurance processes to maintain high standards in production or service delivery. Ensure customer requirements are met and work towards enhancing customer satisfaction. Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality.
Health and Safety Management Assist in the establishment and enforcement of the robust health and safety policy. Regularly conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate workplace hazards.
Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards ISO 45001. Provide health and safety training to employees and foster a safety-conscious work environment. Establish and maintain emergency procedures, including evacuation plans and first aid.
Oversee the reporting and investigation of accidents to prevent future incidents. Implement employee wellness programs to promote physical and mental health. Environmental Management
Assist in the establishment and enforcement of the developed policies that minimise the environmental impact of the organisation's operations. Ensure adherence to environmental laws and regulations ISO 14001. Promote sustainable practices in resource utilisation and waste management.
Conduct assessments to understand the environmental impact of business activities. Implement strategies to reduce the organisation's carbon footprint. Engage with stakeholders, including the local community, about environmental concerns and initiatives.
