Are you a proven sales hunter with experience in telecommunications, ICT, or managed services? Do you know how to build strong client relationships, solve complex business challenges, and close deals with confidence?

Optus Business Centre Adelaide North – powered by Spacetel – is the largest Optus Channel Partner in South Australia, delivering business-grade telco solutions, managed IT services, cyber security, cloud, and collaboration solutions. We partner with global leaders including Microsoft, Zoho, Acronis, 3CX, WatchGuard, and Logitech.

We're in a strong growth phase and are now seeking a high-performance Business Development Manager who understands B2B solution selling in the ICT space and thrives in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment.


What You'll Be Doing


You'll take ownership of your portfolio and drive revenue growth through a mix of new business acquisition and account management:

New Business Acquisition

* Generate and close new business opportunities across mobile, internet, UCaaS/Cloud Voice, M365, cyber security, and managed services
* Strategically hunt, prospect and convert mid-market and SME clients
* Present tailored solutions that deliver business outcomes (not just pricing)
* Manage a strong 30/60/90 day pipeline using a structured sales process
* Work alongside technical specialists to win projects and long-term contracts

Account Growth & Retention

* Manage and grow an assigned customer base
* Protect and retain customers by handling port-out threats and competitor activity
* Drive ARPU uplift through solution expansion
* Build long-term executive-level relationships
* Deliver renewals, cross-sell and upsell outcomes


What We're Looking For


This role requires a sharp sales operator with strong commercial acumen and an understanding of telco or IT services.

You Have:

* Minimum 2+ years in B2B sales (ICT, Telco, SaaS, Managed Services preferred
* A track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets
* Strong negotiation and strategic selling ability
* Ability to solve business challenges with technology
* Professional communication and presentation skills
* Resilience, drive and an elite-level sales mindset
