Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to fulfill the role of Storeperson at a leading mechanical supplier.
This position involves receiving, inspecting, and organizing incoming shipments of mechanical supplies, utilizing a forklift to move and stack materials as needed, maintaining accurate records of inventory levels and transactions, and communicating effectively with team members to coordinate order fulfillment and shipping schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Receiving and inspecting incoming shipments of mechanical supplies
2. Organizing and storing inventory in designated locations
3. Utilizing a forklift to move and stack materials as needed
4. Maintaining accurate records of inventory levels and transactions
5. Communicating effectively with team members to coordinate order fulfillment and shipping schedules
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a warehouse or storeperson role
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently, with a valid HRWL
* Reliable and responsible work ethic
* Strong attention to detail and organization skills
