Are you an experienced commercial litigation lawyer looking to elevate your career with a respected and client-focused litigation firm? We are seeking a motivated Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join our team and manage a diverse portfolio of high-value commercial disputes. You will work closely with senior solicitors and partners, directly engaging with clients and delivering strategic, commercially-driven legal advice.
About the Role
As a Commercial Litigation Solicitor, you will:
1. Lead and manage commercial dispute matters from initial advice through to resolution, including drafting pleadings, affidavits, submissions and correspondence.
2. Represent clients in court appearances, mediations and other dispute resolution forums, and instruct counsel where appropriate.
3. Provide practical, strategic advice to clients on risk, litigation strategy, and dispute resolution options.
4. Contribute to the practice's growth by building strong client relationships and supporting business development initiatives.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
1. 3+ years post-admission experience in commercial litigation, dispute resolution or related areas.
2. Australian work rights are required for this position.
3. Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills, with confidence in managing files autonomously.
4. A pragmatic, commercially minded approach and the ability to work effectively under competing deadlines.
5. A collegial attitude and enthusiasm for collaborating within a high-performing team.
