Job Title: Campus Security Officer
We are seeking a skilled and professional security officer to join our campus team.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will provide a high level of customer service to the university community, respond promptly to incidents on campus, and record and report security incidents. They will also work well within an established and diverse team culture and communicate effectively and professionally with students, staff, and members of the public.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide a customer service approach to the university community
* Respond promptly to all incidents on campus
* Record and report security incidents
* Work well within an established and diverse team culture
* The ability to communicate effectively and professionally to students, staff, and members of the public
* Perform foot and vehicle patrols of the campus grounds
* Utilise electronic security systems including card access control and CCTV
* Provide security services at high-profile events
* Ensure security of university buildings and assets
Mandatory Qualifications:
* A current NSW 1A & 1C Security license in accordance with the Security Industry Act and associated Regulations of the state or territory you work
* A current NSW First Aid Certification
* A current NSW Driver Licence
* At least one year of experience in a similar role
* Australian/New Zealand citizen or permanent Australian resident or hold a visa that entitles you to work in Australia (other than a student or working holiday visa)
