Our client, a commercial landscape and civil construction contractor, specialises in delivering significant projects that enhance communities and the environment.
With a diverse portfolio, including parks, playgrounds, sports facilities, residential developments, and large-scale infrastructure, they have the experience and skills to handle challenging landscape construction requirements.
Beyond construction, they provide post-construction maintenance services to safeguard new landscapes and establish sustainable growth.
THE ROLE
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing landscape construction and civil projects from inception to completion, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
Your role will involve managing client relationships, coordinating resources, and ensuring the successful execution of projects ranging from $50K to $3 million.
The majority of projects will be in Melbourne's East, so there is a preference for people living that side of town.
Manage multiple projects at once – up to four at times depending on the value of individual projects
You'll be managing a team consisting of a Foreman, Leading Hand, and labourers
Must be willing to travel
SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS
Ideally Certificate III – Landscape Construction
2-5 years of full-time Project Management experience in the same industry
Experience in a similar role, preferably with a background in civil, commercial, council, education, heritage, or landscapes
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Microsoft Project
Strong client management skills
