Infosys Consulting is seeking an experienced Senior System Analyst (Principal Consultant level) with strong expertise in Banking and Financial Services. The role involves driving business analysis, system design, and delivering high-quality technology solutions aligned with client objectives. You will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring successful project delivery and strategic transformation.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements
* Identify, investigate, and analyse business processes, procedures, and operational practices
* Evaluate inefficiencies and recommend optimized business processes and system enhancements
* Develop project plans, manage resources, and support delivery using established project management methodologies
* Lead the design, development, and implementation of functional solutions
* Prepare and execute system testing strategies, ensuring quality, reliability, and integrity
* Create functional specifications and detailed documentation to guide development teams
* Use data modelling and process modelling techniques to define system requirements clearly
* Act as a trusted advisor and central point of contact for system-related decision-making
* Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to enhance system functionality across applications, platforms, and digital channels
* Develop user manuals and conduct training sessions for end users
* Support change management and adoption activities within client environments
Required Skills & Experience
* 10 plus years of experience as a Senior System Analyst within Banking or Financial Services
* Strong understanding of banking systems, processes, and regulatory environments
* Proven experience in requirements gathering, functional design, and system implementation
* Expertise in process modelling, data analysis, and documentation tools
* Experience working with enterprise applications, digital platforms, and integration solutions
* Strong knowledge of SDLC and Agile delivery methodologies
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
* Ability to influence and work with senior client stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in core banking, payments, lending, or wealth management systems
* Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile, or Scrum
* Consulting experience with Tier-1 banks or financial institutions
