About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Orthopaedic Scrub/Scout to join our team at Calvary North Adelaide Hospital as a Clinical Nurse Level 2 role.
Theatre Suite
CNAH's operating theatre suite includes 7 operating theatres and 3 procedural rooms, specialising in Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Obstetrics, Bariatrics, General Surgery, Urology, ENT, Oro‐Maxillofacial, Plastics, and Ophthalmology. The theatres run a 6‐day rotating roster (Mon‐Sat) with early and late shifts. No night shift is required. After‐hours emergency theatres are supported by an on‐call roster with an experienced nursing team.
Key Responsibilities
* Represent and lead the orthopaedic scrub/scout specialty at CNAH
* Coordinate orthopaedic lists and ensure all necessary equipment is available
* Communicate with internal and external key stakeholders
* Relieve in the Shift Coordinator role
* Educate staff in the orthopaedic specialty
About You
* AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
* Theatre robotic experience is highly desirable
* Minimum 3+ years clinical experience in Orthopaedic Scrub Scout role
* Previous Clinical Nurse experience is highly desirable
* Excellent communication and organisation skills
* Passion for staff education
