This is a full-time Chef position suited for someone with a strong understanding of Indian cuisine and excellent kitchen operations knowledge. The role plays an important part in ensuring an efficient, well-organised kitchen operation.

Task & Responsibilities
* Contributing to menu planning, seasonal updates, and dish improvements.
* Estimating food, ingredient, and labour costs, and assisting in ordering supplies to maintain stock levels.
* Overseeing quality standards throughout all stages of food preparation, cooking, and plating.
* Communicating with management, dietary staff, and front-of-house teams regarding preparation timelines and special requirements.
* Demonstrating cooking methods, sharing culinary techniques, and guiding staff in correct procedures.
* Preparing, seasoning, cooking, and presenting a wide variety of Indian dishes across multiple menu categories.
* Upholding strict hygiene, food safety, and kitchen cleanliness standards in line with regulations.
* Assisting in selecting, mentoring, and training junior kitchen staff when required.
* Participating in food preservation processes such as freezing, storing, and portioning ingredients.
* Organising and coordinating kitchen tasks to ensure timely and efficient service.
Qualification & Experience
* 1–3 years of commercial kitchen experience.
* Relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
* Strong knowledge of Indian cooking methods, spices, and traditional techniques.
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication skills and a commitment to teamwork.
