Do you want to work with a team that focuses on supporting complex client presentations while also nurturing your development as a clinician?

At The Diversity Clinic, we create a safe, supportive, and inclusive space for both our clients and our team. We are a medium-sized private practice with locations in Wollongong and Sutherland, bringing together a multidisciplinary team of psychologists, social workers, counsellors, and therapy assistants.

We support adolescents and adults with complex mental health needs, with a strong focus on:

- Supporting trauma survivors

- Individuals presenting with personality disorders

- Providing care to neurodivergent clients

- Members of the LGBTQIA+ community

The Role

We are looking for a general psychologist, clinical registrar, clinical psychologist, or accredited mental health social worker to join our team. In this role, you will:

- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based support to adolescents and adults

- Provide therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families

- Create an inclusive, respectful therapeutic workplace

- Collaborate with professionals such as GPs, psychiatrists, teachers, and case managers

- Contribute to case formulations and treatment plans tailored to each client

- Engage in trauma-focused CPD and supervision opportunities

- Access opportunities for professional growth and leadership

- Enjoy flexibility in scheduling, including evenings and weekends if preferred

What We’re Looking For

- Registration with AHPRA (Provisionals awaiting registration encouraged to apply) or AASW

- Eligibility for a Medicare Provider Number

- Current Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain before starting)

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

- Commitment to professional development and supervision

- Experience in evidence-based methods, with openness to learning advanced techniques

- Preferred: EMDR Therapy Training and SIRA Accreditation
