About the Role:
You will be supporting the Food and Nutrition (F&N) Science and Technology Capability (STC) within the Defence Science and Technology (DST) Group.
The F&N STC provides scientific advice and research to improve Defence's fresh and combat ration feeding systems.
Your work will include laboratory, desk-based, and field research activities with a focus on:
Quality assurance and evaluation of military foods, including components, rations, and associated packaging.
Evaluation of the military food supply chain.
Laboratory support activities.
Writing and reviewing reports.
Supporting various food and nutrition research tasks as required.
You'll Need:
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Food Science, Nutrition, or a related field.
Demonstrated technical competency and experience in food science research or quality assurance.
Australian Citizenship (mandatory for security clearance purposes).
