We're seeking a highly skilled BI and Data Integration contractor to support a strategic initiative delivering a new "Knowledge Hub"—a centralised, auditable content management solution. This project will transition current manual reporting processes to an automated Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery) data lake, with Power BI as the reporting layer.
What you'll do:
* Design and implement a scalable data pipeline extracting operational data from Atlassian Confluence and Comala Document Management.
* Deploy data pipelines into Google BigQuery, integrating complex workflow state data and custom metadata.
* Develop Power BI dashboards to visualise document lifecycles, compliance, and adoption metrics.
* Establish clear SOPs and documentation for ongoing reporting and pipeline maintenance.
What we're looking for:
* Proven experience with Confluence Cloud APIs and marketplace apps, specifically Comala Document Management.
* Strong data engineering skills in GCP BigQuery and SQL.
* Advanced Power BI development experience, including DAX, Power Query, and integration with non-Microsoft data sources.
* Practical ETL experience with SaaS connectors and bulk data ingestion.
Bonus points for:
* Experience in regulated industries (insurance, financial services).
* Strong technical writing skills for documentation and handover.
