About this role: We are seeking a strategic and experienced Asset Manager to lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive asset management strategy across our schools. This is an exciting time to join us as we continue to grow and expand our property portfolio.
We require someone with a strong understanding of ISO 55000 standards and lifecycle asset management, as well as experience with asset registers, databases, and GIS systems.
* Create and implement a system-wide asset management strategy, framework, and dashboard.
* Oversee acquisition, operation, maintenance, renewal, and disposal of assets across our schools.
* Ensure schools address insurance risk management and comply with Essential Safety Provision requirements.
* Negotiate and manage energy supply procurement contracts for all our schools.
* Collaborate with school leaders, finance teams, and external consultants to ensure consistent asset management practices.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications in asset or property management or a related field.
* Strong analytical and strategic planning skills.
* Familiarity with digital asset management tools.
* Experience in project management and stakeholder engagement.
* Certification in Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect in Education and Care Settings.
