About The Role
SMSF Accountant – Perth Business Advisory Team
Location: Perth, WA
Are you ready to take the next step in your accounting career? Join RSM's Perth Business Advisory team and play a key role in our SMSF processing division.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a collaborative team, delivering high-quality compliance services for Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSFs) while supporting other SMSF specialists.
What You'll Do
* Prepare SMSF work papers and financial statements in line with current legal and accounting standards.
* Liaise with SMSF auditors and resolve queries promptly.
* Identify and address relevant accounting and compliance issues.
* Assist with client meetings and prepare supporting documentation.
* Ensure compliance with lodgement programs and deadlines.
Education
* Essential: Business/Commerce degree with an Accounting major
* Desirable: CA or equivalent (completed or in progress)
* Desirable: SMSF Specialist course
Experience & Attributes
* 1–2 years in a similar role
* Proficiency with Class Super
* Strong communication skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively
