About the OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking an ambitious, operationally focused and results driven leader to fill our Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) role.
As a Clinical Nurse Manager, you will oversee the clinical, regulatory and delivery of operational functions of our Emergency, Acute and Aged Care areas.
This is accomplished by recruiting, developing and inspiring a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with general practitioners (GPs), tracking and delivering superior patient outcomes and monitoring regulatory and safety requirements.
About this ROLE
This position, under the direction of the Director of Nursing/Health Service Manager (DON/HSM), practises as a Clinical Nurse Manager in keeping with the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Board Registration Standards and Nursing Practice Decision Making Flowchart.
You will be responsible for the management of human and material resources within the Emergency, Acute and Aged care areas in consultation with the Director of Nursing/Health Service Manager to support clinical standards and quality of care.
About You
You are eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse (Division 1).
You will be a driven and innovative individual whose actions, interactions and partnerships achieve high quality patient care outcomes.
You have demonstrated advanced clinical skills with relevant post-graduate qualifications in health service management or working towards attainment and/or evidence of recent management experience encompassing clinical care standards within a health service organisation.
You have a comprehensive understanding of the WA Country Health Service framework, priorities and performance indicators and their impact on current care practices and access within health care services.
You have knowledge of and demonstrated competency with patient management information systems and their application for supporting effective patient care.
