Senior Recruitment Manager at Hays | Technology | Projects and Business Change

As a SAP Payroll Consultant, you will be responsible for configuring, implementing, and supporting SAP Payroll solutions across School and Corporate environments. You’ll play a key role in ensuring system stability, resolving complex payroll issues, and aligning technical solutions with business processes and compliance requirements.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
* Configure and maintain SAP Payroll systems, ensuring alignment with business needs.
* Provide third-level support for payroll-related incidents and system issues.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including ABAP, Fiori, and Workflow specialists.
* Assist in blueprinting and functional design of payroll solutions.
* Conduct comprehensive testing and quality assurance for payroll changes and enhancements.
* Deliver expert advice on SAP Payroll functionality and best practices.
* Analyse business requirements and translate them into integrated SAP solutions.
* Support end users and stakeholders with strategic technical guidance.
* Manage test planning, execution, and defect tracking for payroll systems.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
* Proven experience in SAP Payroll within the NSW Public Sector or similar environments.
* Strong understanding of SAP Concurrent Employment and HR practices.
* Proficiency in SAP Workflows, Fiori, Portal, and ABAP debugging.
* Experience with SAP Leave Management and BRF+ configuration.
* Familiarity with ITSM tools for incident and demand management.
* Knowledge of SAP support stack upgrades and Presence of IT tools (e.g., POP Copy).
* Strong grasp of change management processes and governance.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to work flexibly across operational and project-based tasks.
